First day that the wound is closed. Nurse said "good wound". 🤞🏼 No more wet dressing!

Simple change of dressing at hospital today. Nothing special all looks ok.
Wound is healing well from the inside. Already not as deep anymore.
It's mothers day, only the emergency departmetn was in operation. That means, the wet dressing is to be perfored by a nurse who is particulrly caring but rough and thorough in her wound cleaning. When I see her, I know it is going to be painful. In her hands a piece of gause takes on qulities of floss and is pulled through my toes, through the wound to make sure it is properly "สะอาด".
But things really are good, the wound is heling from inside now. I look at my flowers (thank you Mind) and my tiny chicken egg (thank you PiYuth) and I feel happy.
William helped me today and Knot from the Maxxis Car Repair shop lend me his car. We went to see the surgen who did the surgery on my foot. Diagnosis, healing is progressing well. Stitching up the wound would be possible now, but would carry with it a greater risk of infection. So we decided to keep the wound open for 2 more weeks - at which poit it should close by itself. Hurray!!! (Got some free condoms at SanSai Hospital - after looking at the pictures of venerial desease dispayed alongside them, I am happy it's just my foot thats impaired.)
Super standard day. All good, we took some pictures and sent them to the surgeon in ChiangMai.
There where some potetial COVID pations at one corner of the hospital, so the route to the wound dressing room was diverted around the back.
Went again to ChiangDao Hospital for new wet dressing. Wound looks ok, slight reddness, but no puss. Yess. Pain still minimal.
Nurse asked me if I can teach her 4 year old kid English. Should I do it? Would be a commitment.
Rountine change of wet dressing at ChiangDao Hospital today. Wound looks ok, no sign of new infection. Pain minimal, except during wound cleaning.
A ลุง came in dripping blod from a dirty t-shirt, he'd wrapped around a deep gash on his wrist. God bless him.
